One Day Seminar

On 22 June 2022 (14 Asar 2079), one day seminar on “An Initiative to Expand Mahāyāna Scholarship” has been successfully conducted by Sugata Buddhist College in support of Lumbini Buddhist University at Hotel Goodwill, Kanibahal, Laltipur.

During the seminar, the founder chairman Mr. Mahiswar Raj Bajracharya chaired the ceremony while Prof. Dr. Tirtha Ratna Manandhar, Dr. Surendra Man Bajracharya chaired the paper presentation session. Ms. Astha Shakya, Vice Mayor of Lalitpur Municipality appeared the program as the special guest while Dr. Manik Ratna Shakya, DEAN of Lubmini Buddhist University was present as the chief guest during the programme.  Many other scholars and renown personalities from the Buddhist Sector and activists were present during the programme to make the programme successful.

The paper presentation was done by teachers and students from Sugata Buddhist College. The teachers: Mr. Milan Shakya, Mr. Sanjay Shakya, Mr. Keshab Chitrakar and Ms. Nani Hera Shakya presented the papers in various topics while the students Ms. Ashaka Bajracharya, Mr. Rajendra Shakya and Swasti Ratna Shakya presented papers during the seminar.

Similarly, the renown scholars Prof. Dr. Ranjana Bajracharya, Dr. Nabin Bajracharya, Mr. Tirtha Ratna Shakya, Mr. Ratna Bajracharya, Dr. Mahendra Ratna Shakya, Mr. Punya Prasad Parajuli and Mr. Raj Bhai Bajracharya commented on the presented papers during the program.
