A Path to the Enlightened Education.

Educational Visit to Mahamandal Ashokbari Vihar

Sugata Buddhist College (SBC) and Nepal Buddhist Council (NBC) organized a field trip and educational visit on April 22, 2023, to Mahamandal Asokbari Vihar, Shree Swoyembhu Chaitya, Nuwakot, Bidhur Municipality. This Buddhist vihar dates back to the Licchabi period of Nepal. During the visit, the team conducted Saptabidhan puja, Aaryaa Namasangitee Bachana, and meditation in the peaceful atmosphere of the site.

Following the belief of “Danam Bibhusan loke Danam Durgati nibaranam..”, all participants, including NBC executives, principals, teachers, students, and alumni of SBC, raised funds and donated to Nuwakot Yuwa Club for the renovation of this historic Buddhist Bihar.
